I checked the dock counts from yesterday and it was nice to see that the fish are biting and even better that people are going fishing again. Up and down the coast the number of anglers are up and I mean way up! also the fishing is very good too.
In the SF Bay area one of the boats we charter every year The Huck Finn had limits on salmon. Boats all over So CA had limits of barracuda and skippers are telling me they are seeing yellowtail at the islands and as soon as this winds stop and the water warms up a little they think that the yellows are going to bite wide open. Again I'm just so happy to see so many people fishing again, let's keep it going.....
