you often hear me talk on my TV show about why you need to use circle hook when fishing for baracuda, well here's a warning about that. you need to make sure that for fish like barracuda and yellowtail and white sea bass that you don't use thin wire circle hooks for larger fish like these. I've beenon several trips this year where guys were using them and the hooks opened up on them an dthey lost fish, these thin wire hooks are fine on smaller sand bass and calicos, but for larger fish make sure you are using heavier hooks. I just thought I'd share this with you.
