I just got a report that the barracuda went wide ope again out of Newport Beach yesterday and that they are still biting today, it sounds like the fish are along the coast from Newport Beach to Long Beach and even the boats in Santa Monica Bay are getting them too.
If you plan to fish for them with live bait make sure you use a circle hook, that way the fish will not be able to cut you line with its teeth. The best thing to use would be a surface jig. if you not sure how to fish with one of these please go to my You Tube Channel and look at videos of me fishing with a Magic Metal Lite Jig. You want to use a MM7 for this type of fishing. Good luck and get out there before the fish move on.
