Barracuda

There are big schools of barries in the local waters right now from Newport Beach north to Long Beach, the only problem has been the weather. our trip on Sunday was a wash out, heavy winds and big seas forced us to head back tom port. Boats out earlier in the week found great fishing for barracuda up on the surface, this is what everyone has been waiting for, all we need now if the the weather to settle down and then the fishing will take off!

You need to check the weather before you head out fishing. Sunday was an ugly day, very heavy winds and huge waves, you shouldn't have been out there. you need to always be safe. Also make sure you have a VHF radio with you. on days like that you can still fish, just stay in the harbor. Please be safe out there.
