This past Sunday we had our first fishing/ filming fishing charter for the season aboard the Westerly out of Berth 55 in LB. The ride out to the island was perfect, no wind or swell. fishing was good for smaller size rock fish, the reds ate cut squid and the salmon groupers wanted sardines. Most of the fish were taken using a B 52 bucktail with a strip of squid pinned on, Larry landed his biggest fish on Magic Metal jigs. We did have three legal lings for the day. We had perfect weather for the ride home too. The next trip that we have space on is our May 05th trip aboard the Oceanside 95, check out our website for details.
