Sea Star

last Friday we had one of our best fishing trips of the year. Everyone had limits of bass, it was a mix of both sand bass and calico's. We had some many small Barrie's around that we had to work at getting the Calico's. I got lucky and had the largest sand bass on the trip. I took it on a B-52 bucktail jig with a Gulp squid pinned on. I ended up taking three large sand bass and two nice calico's on this combo. Sign up soon and join us of for one of our charters. Dan

Three Day Trip

I just wanted everyone to know that the albacore are finally showing up. On our three day trip we had some nice size fish, but not as many as i had hoped for. Since then the fishing has got even better. If you want to catch a tuna you should got out there very soon.

Last nights seminar

I just wanted to thank all of you who showed up last night at my seminar at the Sports Authority store in the South Bay. I really didn't expect anyone to be there with the Lakers playing game four in their series at the same time. Also thanks to those of you who e-mailed me this morning about last nights event, I had a great time and I'm glad so many of you did too!

Del Mar Fred Hall Show

I'd like to thank everyone who came by our booth to say hi. Del Mar Fred Hall Show

Make plans to join me at the Fred Hall Show next week. The show dates are March 26-30Th it's always a great show and as a rule it's the start of our local sport fishing season. Fred Hall Show in Long Beach

Fishing the Wall

Just before Christmas I did some calico bass fishing along the Breakwall out of Long Beach. The fishing over the weekend was great! Today I went out and the fishing was a lot slower. It looked like today there just wasn't any current and the kelp was straight up with no movement. All the fish I've been hooking were on deep diving crankbaits. It's hard to believe it's December and the bass fishing is still good. I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year's and wanted to thank you all again for supporting me, my youth foundation and my TV program.

My boat is now for sale

I wanted to let you all know that I'm getting ready to order my new 2008 Skeeter bay boat for next season. That means that I can now sell the boat that we have been filming on this season. It's a great boat and I've made several trips on it to Catalina Island its fished get! I will leave everything on the boat for the buyer.
