Mac Arthur Park
Today we had a great event at Mac Arthur Park in downtown LA. It was a small event for us only about 175 kids and their famines, but it was a great event, about 100 of the kids had never Bern fishing before and that is what my foundation is all about, letting kids try fishing. Also the fishing was very good too, many of the kids had their five fish limits. Yes today was a great day!

Free kids fishing event tomorrow
Tomorrow on June 12th my youth foundation will be hosting a free kids fishing event at Mac Arthur Park in downtown LA. Fishing hours are from 9 am - 1 pm. Everything is free fro the kids. I hope to see you all there.
Bluefin tuna!
Just in case you haven't heard the news, san Diego sport boats are now catching bluefin tuna less than 100 miles from SD. Reports say there are a lot of fish in the area. I was told that tonights weather will keep the boats tied to the dock, but as soon as the weather improves look for good dock counts for the tuna. This is pretty earlier for bluefin and I'm sure the albacore will be here soon too.

Oceanside 95 Trip report
we had an awesome fishing trip last Saturday aboard the Oceanside 95, it was a fundraiser fishing trip only ten people were on the 95 foot sport fishier. we landed 14 yellowtail to 24 pounds and we lost over 30 others, most of the fish were taken on live bait and a few did eat iron jigs. As the weather gets warmer look for the fishing to get even better!
